Quick Setup

Follow the steps below to enable SQL Server remote connection and authentication mode to allow vSROPlus to connect to your database.

Allow vSROPlus to connect to the SQL Server port and game ports through Windows Firewall.

Now that this rule has been created, the SQL Server port and game ports are publicly accessible to everyone. The next steps are to allow only vSROPlus IPs to connect.

Restoring vPlus database through backup file. (Only do this if your SQL Server is 2019 or newer)

Restoring vPlus database through SQL script. (Only do this if your SQL Server version is 2017 or older)

Allow vSROPlus Guard IP to have GM access so you can log in with your GM account on the guard and allow the guard bots to log in.

Now we have to provide vSROPlus Guard with Gateway IP/Port, static captcha, and SQL credentials.

• 2.1 Gateway IP: Your host IP or the specified IP for the Gateway Module in your certification if you are using a different one.
• 2.2 Gateway Port: The default gateway port is 15779. If you are not using the default files, open srNodeData.ini from your certification INI files and search for service_type=4. Below it you will find the gateway port.

• 2.3 Static Captcha: To set a static captcha, modify your server.cfg file as shown below, then set your static captcha in the Connections page. Static captcha should be 0 in the following picture.

• 2.4 Disable Captcha: This option will disable captcha on your server.
• 2.5 SQL Server IP: Host IP address.
• 2.6 SQL Server Port: The port you already set in step a) 13.
• 2.7 SQL Server Username: Should be sa by default.
• 2.8 SQL Server Password: Enter your SQL password.
• 2.9 Account DB: Account database name, which is SRO_VT_ACCOUNT by default.
• 2.10 Shard DB: Shard database name, which is SRO_VT_SHARD by default.
• 2.11 Log DB: Log database name, which is SRO_VT_LOG by default.

Import server libraries to your server modules and start all modules. Do not perform this section if you are already using the executables from server_libs.

Note: Do not forget to set the guard's Gateway Module to Online mode.

NOTE: Make sure that the given IDs for the lines are not repeated in your file, or the client will crash on start.

NOTE: Make sure that you set the correct column padding to match the rest of your file.
